Your Role as a Social Media Manager
As our new Social Media Manager, you will lead our online presence, shaping the narrative around our brand across various platforms. You will be responsible for developing and implementing compelling social media strategies that resonate with our audience and drive engagement. Your insights will inform and elevate our marketing initiatives, ensuring that we not only meet but exceed our growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across all social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics, utilizing platforms like Google Analytics and social media analytics tools to guide content direction and optimization.
- Engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and mannerly manner, fostering community and loyalty.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our social media efforts align with marketing campaigns, brand voice, and company goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, social media developments, and emerging platforms to enhance our content strategy.
- Research and implement best practices in social media marketing and use of modern technology tools.
- Conduct periodic competitor analysis to refine strategies and improve our market position.
- Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns to drive traffic, conversion, and sales.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a social media manager or similar role in a reputable organization.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, including tools and analytics specific to each.
- The ability to write compelling copy and create visually engaging content.
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience in managing public relations and crisis management on social platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and interpret data.
- A deep understanding of SEO, content marketing, and online community management.
